1.Introduction

SchemeofChinaProgram.

2.Contents

1) Number of students to be enrolled: 200

2)Supporting Candidates: Master students

3)Teaching language: English

4) Training approach andduration:

Inprinciple,the curriculum leadsto amaster's degree and lasts 12months. Some programsfollow the"1+1" paradigm, which requiresstudentstodotheirfull- timebasic coursework andresearch in Chineseuniversities inthe first academicyearwhile finishingup their dissertationpreparations. Beforetraveling to China todefendtheirdissertationsasrequiredbytheuniversities,theymustworkin their home countriesduringthesecondacademic year andfinishtheirdissertationsbasedonstudiesandactualwork. Adegreewillbeawardedto

those who successfully complete the defense.

3.Application requirements

1) An applicant must be a citizen ofacountryother than thePeople'sRepublic

ofChina, andbeunderthe age of45 in goodhealthboth mentally andphysically.

2)An applicant must have a bachelor's degree or higher degree and at least three yearsofworkexperience. Thosewithprofessionaltrainingorworkexperience

related to the proposed program will be given preference.

An applicant must fall into one ofthefollowingfour categories:

① Agovernmentofficialatthedivisionchief level (orequivalentlevel)or above;

② A senior manager ofan institution or enterprise;

③ An administrator ofa university or scientific research institution;

④Thosewhohaverelevantemploymentorinternshipexperiencein international organizations.

4)Thepre-admissionlettergivenbytheuniversitymustcontainallofthe necessaryinformationof registration,suchaspersonalinformation,theadmission date andmajor's information. It cannot contain any information about

having received or promised to receive Chinese government scholarships.

4.Application approach

1) Onlineapplication

ApplicantsshouldlogontotheChineseGovernmentScholarshipSystemfor onlineapplication(http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) andsubmitapplication materials before April15, 2024.

Applicantsshould have received a pre-admission letter from one of 78 subprograms at least when they apply. When applyingonline,select"TypeA"for"Scholarship Type". The agency code is1563, andapplicants need toselect

"YouthofExcellenceSchemeofChina".

2)Handling of applications

TheChinaScholarshipCouncilacceptsindividualapplicationsdirectly,and

reviews the materials submitted by applicants then arranges expert review.

5.Assessmentandenrollment

1)Theapplicationmaterialswillundergoapreliminaryexaminationbythe

ChinaScholarship Council.

2) ChinaScholarship Council willarrange asecondexamination byapanelof

experts. The final enrollment results will be announced after expert review.
